We offer online and blended learning courses on how to better understand the patient perspective on medicines use and how to integrate this perspective into healthcare practice, utilizing qualitative research methods.

Online courses

Qualitative Research on the Patient Perspective on Medicines Use

The centre offers online courses in qualitative research methods for health professionals.

The courses provide:

  • step‑by‑step introduction to qualitative approaches
  • tools to understand patient perspectives on medicines use
  • practical skills in interview techniques and data collection
  • guidance on designing and conducting small qualitative studies

All courses are delivered as four‑week online programmes using accessible digital learning tools.

Why?

When patients and healthcare professionals engage together in healthcare, the use of medicines is better tailored to each patients’ needs and preferences. It is therefore of importance that healthcare professionals and health policy makers understand the patient perspective on medicines use and know how to integrate this perspective into healthcare.

We offer courses on the patient perspective on medicines use, and how to further explore this. Course participants will get an understanding of patients’ lives with medicines and will learn how (and try themselves) to conduct a small study.
