Why? - What and when? - For whom?

This website introduces trained health care professionals to qualitative research techniques in health sciences, by using a step-by-step guide. Qualitative research enables researchers to understand patients' perspectives, experiences and perceptions, so as to involve them in decision-making and promote rational use of medicines in society.

Guide to Qualitative Research on Patient Perspective on Medicines Use

The is a step-by-step tool developed by the Centre, to provide policy makers, regulators, health care professionals and researchers with a comprehensive plan on how to prepare for qualitative interviews – from initial thoughts to dissemination.

Blended Learning courses on Patient Perspectives on Medicines

The WHO Center has also participated in the creation of a new blended learning education for pharmacy staff about how to become patient centered in their counseling based on the psychological principle of mentalizing.
